Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Platinum Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd, we understand that travel plans can change. We have outlined our refund and cancellation policy below for each service category. We encourage clients to read this policy carefully before making any booking.

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@platinumtravels.net or in person at our Multan office. Verbal requests will not be processed.

International Visit Visa Services

  • Visa service/processing fees are non-refundable once the application has been submitted to the relevant embassy or consulate, regardless of outcome.
  • Government-mandated visa fees (embassy fees) are non-refundable in all cases.
  • If Platinum Travels & Tours fails to submit your application due to an error on our part, a full refund of our service fee will be issued.
  • In cases of visa rejection, no refund of service fees applies — visa decisions are made solely by the relevant embassy.

Air Tickets

  • Cancellation and refund eligibility depends entirely on the airline’s fare rules applicable to your ticket.
  • Economy fares are typically non-refundable or carry a cancellation penalty as per airline policy.
  • Our service fee for ticket issuance is non-refundable once the ticket has been issued.
  • Refund processing times vary by airline — typically 7 to 30 business days.
  • Date changes and rescheduling are subject to airline availability and applicable change fees.

Umrah Packages

  • Cancellation more than 45 days before departure: 75% refund of package cost (after deducting airline and hotel cancellation charges).
  • Cancellation 30–44 days before departure: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation 15–29 days before departure: 25% refund.
  • Cancellation less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
  • In cases of visa rejection by Saudi authorities, the visa fee is non-refundable. Airline and hotel charges apply as per their respective cancellation policies.

International Tour Packages

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before departure: 70% refund (after deducting non-recoverable hotel and airline costs).
  • Cancellation 15–29 days before departure: 40% refund.
  • Cancellation less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
  • Cancellation due to visa rejection: Refund of recoverable hotel costs only; airline tickets follow airline policy.

Business Travel Management

Cancellation terms for corporate clients are agreed individually at the time of contract signing. Please refer to your signed service agreement.

How to Request a Cancellation

  • Submit your request in writing to info@platinumtravels.net
  • Include your full name, contact number, booking reference, and reason for cancellation
  • Our team will respond within 2 business days with the applicable refund amount
  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days via the original payment method

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control — including natural disasters, government travel bans, airline shutdowns, or pandemics — Platinum Travels & Tours will work in good faith to reschedule bookings or offer credit notes. Cash refunds in force majeure situations are subject to what is recoverable from airlines and hotels.
