Although Pakistan’s ranking has declined from 97th earlier this year, it remains an improvement over its 103rd position in 2025.
The country has also expanded the rollout of ICAO-compliant biometric e-passports, a move aimed at enhancing travel security, improving document authentication, and supporting future international mobility agreements.
